What I do at Multistory

I've been the Director at Multistory since 2006, when we set up the company. I develop the overall strategic and artistic direction of the company and make sure we run a successful business.

I work with a talented, ambitious team and Board of Trustees as well as a number of fantastic associates and we work together to achieve great results.

What I've done before

I've worked in community arts, as a practitioner and manager, since graduating from Newcastle Polytechnic in 1991.  I've always been interested in making art with, and for, people and about place.

What makes me happy

Mostly developing and realising ideas with artists who want to make-work with, and for, people in Sandwell and the Black Country.

My favourite film

I seem to only watch Walt Disney and Hannah Barbara these days with my children which includes the classics and more recent releases like the Lion King, Aladdin, Home on the Range and many more; and I'm always surprised how good they are!

My favourite music

Italian Opera and anything Latin or African that you can dance to; I love dancing.

My favourite place to visit

Manorbier in South Wales.
