What I do at Mutistory
I’m working with the team to develop the Small Change programme, which you can find further information about on the 'project page'. As part of this programme, I'm developing a series of Small Change pilot projects here in Britain and India, whilst also organising the Small Change: ingenious people make better places conference in October.
What I've done before
Throughout my professional career, I’ve always been interested in the social aspect of art and architecture and their potential to improve people’s lives. To these ends I have a Bachelor of Architecture degree and am currently completing a Masters in Development at Oxford Brookes University. For the past 10 years I’ve worked in the private, charitable and academic sectors on socially engaging art and architecture projects both nationally and internationally. In the future, I aim to become more involved in my own creative art practice along with continuing project management.
What makes me happy
Sunshine, the sea, lovely friends and my family.
My favourite film
What a terrible thing to ask! I have far too many favorite films to even start mentioning.
My favourite music
When picking my favourite music, I think of two situations. The first is sitting in the car on a long journey. The second is someone’s wedding. Now, I could say ABBA here in terms of good old sing-a-long value in both situations; however, that would too uncool. So I’m going to say ELO’s Xanadu and leave it with you to judge just how uncool I really am.
My favourite place
Throughout my life I’ve been incredibly lucky to have visited some amazing places in the world. These range from tropical islands in the South China Sea, to the mountains of Tibet and the amazing cities of India. Here in the Britain, I’ve loved exploring the Orkney Islands and other parts of Scotland, Wales and England. But I do have to say that my favourite place on earth to visit will always be my grandmothers. Where else on earth are you going to get a cup of tea and a biscuit, and someone to tell you you’re perfect just the way you are?
