Colin Wells (Chair of the Board) has worked in the IT industry, including IBM, since the late 1960s.

As Chair of Multistory’s Board, Colin won Land Rover Board Member of the Year and the Jaguar Champion of Champions 2009, presented at the 10th Jaguar Land Rover Awards for Arts & Business.

Colin has worked voluntarily with many arts organisations, including as a governor of The Royal Shakespeare Company and was winner of the Arts and Business Advisor of the Year Award for sales and marketing consultancy work with Playbox Theatre and The Bewdley Festival.

Gordon Bates was originally a local authority chief officer but, since 1996, has been operating as a management consultant working mainly, but not exclusively, with arts organisations.  He is also a board member of Seven Stories; Live Theatre in Newcastle; Tees Valley Arts; and Dodgy Clutch Theatre Company. 

Lisa Thomson is the Director of Corporate Affairs at Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust - one of the most successful hospital trusts in the country. 

With a background firmly in communications and marketing, Lisa has worked for organisations such as Amey plc, Cadbury Schweppes plc, Do it All, Warwick Hospital, Finelist Group plc, Motorcycle City and Halfords, designing and delivering marketing and communications strategies, media relations, crisis media relations and media relations training.  Lisa also specialises in business integration programmes and has worked on over 100 mergers and acquisitions.

Stephen Johnson ACMA, is a freelance financial consultant.  He has worked in the finance industry since leaving university in 1997 with a degree in Accountancy and Finance, and later gained his full qualification with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in early 2006.  

Louise Kilbride is a freelance consultant in community regeneration and neighbourhood renewal. Within this broad field, she has two special areas of interest and expertise: tackling health inequalities; and equality and diversity. Louise has a background as a qualified youth and community worker and has worked for, and managed, various community organisations in different neighbourhoods in Birmingham.

During the last ten years, as well as her freelance work, Louise has been employed in two strategic roles: Co-Director of CHART West Midlands (Centre for Health Action Research and Training); and joint Health Inequalities Implementation Lead for Dudley Strategic Partnership.

Paul Sutton PhD is the Artistic Director of applied theatre company C&T, specialists in mixing participatory drama, learning and new media.  He also teaches drama at the University of Worcester, where C&T are based.  Paul is a Council Member of Arts Council England, West Midlands.
