Committee of Lost Memories Cafe, 2012
Committee of Lost Memories Cafe Opens This Saturday
By Karl Greenwood - 16th February, 2012
Today I went to visit Katy and Torange setting up the Committee for Lost Memories Cafe on Charlemont Estate, as they were getting ready for the big opening of the cafe which is this Saturday at 11am.
They were hard at work drilling, painting, decorating, borrowing and moving furniture to get it looking fabulous for the opening. The shop is open for a week from 18-24 February so if you get the chance please go down and see the amazing transformation that has taken place from an old derelict shop unit into a creative and social hub for the local community to enjoy. Come down to grab a cup of tea, play games and you can even have a game of tenpin bowling if you wish!
The shop is on Beacon View Road, Charlemont Estate, West Bromwich, B71 3PJ.
