However you travel, once you arrive, come through the big pink doors and let reception know you’re here and we’ll come down and collect you.

Parking

There are plenty of car parks close by, the nearest of which is number 13.  For a PDF of the car parks, see the link in the right hand column (postcodes are provided).

There is disabled parking on New Street (number 12 on the car park map), opposite The Public, as well as a drop off point at the entrance to the building.

Travelling By Car

The Public is about a mile from Junction 1 of the M5 (follow the directions to West Bromwich town centre). 

Stay on the road for half a mile until you get to the traffic lights at the Trinity Way (A4031) junction. Continue ahead until you come to the next set of traffic lights (the Premier Travel Inn should be visible on your left hand side). Turn right here onto Bull Street and carry on straight ahead to the next set of lights.

Immediately after these lights, take the second left onto Walsall Street for car park number 13 (see link to PDF car park map in the right hand column).

By Public Transport

By Metro

The closest stop is West Bromwich Central and it’s approximately a five minute walk to The Public.  

The trams run approximately every 6 to 8 minutes between Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

By Bus

The Public is about a five minute walk from West Bromwich bus station.

By Train

Sandwell & Dudley railway station is situated between West Bromwich and Oldbury and is just a five minute bus or taxi ride to The Public. Taxis usually wait outside the station and the bus stop is on the main road (cross over the road to get the bus into the centre of West Bromwich).
