Explore! Project
Posted Friday, June 5th, 2009Multistory is working with Staffordshire Arts and Museums Service to develop and produce the content for a friendly, ‘hands-on’ user guide which outlines the benefits of multi-sensory art; examples of current practice; what it can involve; and how it can be used, including ideas and activities for a specified target audience.
Workshops will be run by three different artists working in three different mediums in schools which cater for children with special educational needs. Multistory will use these workshops as a basis for three case studies for the guide, looking at a variety of different artistic practice throughout.
This project will build upon the existing experience of Multistory, developed during the Time to Talk programme of work, and will allow staff to further explore ideas of working in a multi-sensory way with a diverse range of participants.
